In all there are nine salons on board the
Heritage on Wheels, two restaurants, a bar and
royal baths. You'll feel as though your on a
royal mansion that is on the move. Travel to
Gajner, Tal Chappar and Haat on your Heritage
on Wheels luxury train tour. The Heritage on
Wheels Train tour begins on every Tuesday and
Friday from Jaipur.

Tour Detail
The Heritage on Wheels is a new luxury train
on a new metre gauge which explores the
regions of Bikaner and Shekhawati, part of the
colourful heritage of the State of Rajasthan.
Depart Jaipur Tuesdays and Fridays between
October and March inclusive.

Day 1.
Jaipur. Board the train at 6.30 pm and travel
overnight for Bikaner. Dinner on board.
Day 2.
Bikaner. Arrive in Bikaner at 6 am and have
breakfast on board. At 8.30 am, commence a
sightseeing tour of Bikaner known for its good
breed of riding camels which are among the
best in the world. The city has many
magnificent buildings and conveys the rich and
vast culture of Rajasthan through its endless
monuments. Visit the Fort, one of the finest
of Rajput monuments. Later, depart by coach
for Deshnok to view the amazing Karni Mata
Temple. Have tea at Gajner before returning to
the train for dinner and overnight.
Day 3.
Nawalagarh and Mandawa. After traveling
overnight on the train and breakfast on board,
begin a sightseeing tour of Nawalgarh, a small
town with bustling streets and a fort built in
1737. Afterwards, depart for Mandawa, a lovely
little market town. Visit the Havelis
(ornately decorated residences) where you will
see interesting frescoes painted on the walls.
Have lunch in Mandawa and later, depart for
Ramgarh, a green oasis located on a
picturesque lake. Return to the train around 4
pm in time for tea. Dinner and overnight on
board.
Day 4.
Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur and disembark after
breakfast.

three types depending on the sharing of
cabins. The Heritage on Wheels tariff is
inclusive of charges of dining, entrance fee
(if required) at various tourist attractions
and organized sightseeing (rates of deluxe
coaches and guides).
Other than the prepaid tariff on Heritage on
Wheels, guests are liable to pay for laundry,
liquor and video cameras.
